Friendship Farms & Fare is an urban farm network that has been in operation since 2010. Our farms and community gardens are located in the East Madison neighborhood of New Port Richey, and includes Grand Garadens, a thriving community garden at the corner of Grand Blvd. and Georgia Ave in New Port Richey. We use permiculture practices and follow a strict organic regime. We observe no-kill protocol and have a wide variety of non-human companions who find welcome and hospitality at our gardens. Friendship Farms & Fare feature seeds, seedlings, seasonal fruits, and vegetables. We are a licensed seed seller and registered nursery – both with and by the State of Florida. Friendship Farms & Fare is proud to be a founding participant in the New Port Richey FarmNet, a network of urban farms, community gardens, residential gardens, locally-sourced markets and food distribution systems, and dedicated volunteers and financial supporters. Like other participants in FarmNet, and our parent organization (Ecology Florida), Friendship Farms & Fare is committed to urban agrarianism, including development of sustainable local food production and distribution systems, support of locally owned and operated businesses, resilient economic systems, community education on the principles and practices of urban agrarianism and cultural resiliency, and the development of authentic communities.
