Growing up in a family that loved cooking and working in the restaurant business in many different capacities, I have really learned a LOT about food and seasonings. Tips on what goes well together and what does not. Where to find the best ingredients and how to use them.

I found that most store bought herb blends and seasoning mixes are often loaded with salt, sugar, or unnecessary (often artificial) ingredients. So I started making my own. The first one was Cajun. I wanted the authentic flavor that I grew to love when I lived in New Orleans. It was nearly impossible to find and seasoning blend that wasn’t full of salt and…well…junk. So I went to work creating my own Cajun seasoning based on several recipes that could go with a number of dishes.

That is where it began. Today, I am constantly searching for new recipes, the best ingredients, and new uses for the seasonings that I sell.
